POSITION:

Human Resources Recruiter

LOCATION:

Bronx, NY

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for managing the recruiting process through the development of local and national recruiting initiatives, by employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting tactics.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Execute the company's recruiting campaigns
  • Perform all aspects of recruitment including creating job descriptions, job postings, screening resumes, conducting initial contact and interview, scheduling, etc.
  • Lead the creation of a recruiting plan for each open position
  • Administrative duties and record keeping
  • Assist hiring managers through recruitment meetings; conduct follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need. Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
  • Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives and internship programs
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree and up to 3 years of related work experience in human resources.

COMPENSATION:

Based upon experience; benefits package.

POSITION: 

Operations Assistant (Temp-to-Perm)

LOCATION:

Bronx, NY

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Dropping off/picking up permit applications, bringing paperwork to installation sites
  • Scheduling appointments and arranging meetings
  • Contacting customers to schedule site visits, survey inspections, installations, and building inspections
  • Working with residential operations to prepare permit packages for building departments
  • Visiting various building departments in NY Counties to obtain information and follow up on submitted applications
  • Working with the operations and engineering team to build a central database for project resources and documents
  • Occasionally answering phones and providing assistance in directing calls to their appropriate party
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong research, planning, and organizational skills for various special projects
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).  Experience with Google Docs and Adobe PDF is preferred but not mandatory
  • Able to manage heavy data entry, emails, and faxing
  • Valid NYC driver’s license

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. This is a temp-to-perm entry level position.  After a 3-month evaluation period, depending on your performance and mutual interest, we may be able to offer you a full-time position.

COMPENSATION:

$10 per hour / 30 hours per week

POSITION:

Solar PV System Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Residential solar PV system design and drafting
  • Occasional project site visits/assessments including but not limited to, structural, solar shading, and electrical service analysis
  • Communicate with customers, operations team, sales team, and installation team to ensure a smooth and efficient turn-around in the development of residential projects
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Proficient use of AutoCAD is mandatory
  • A Bachelor’s degree, or progress towards it, is preferred
  • One year of relevant work experience is desired
  • Basic understanding of grid-tied PV system, NEC, and up-to-code design theories is a major plus
  • Basic understanding of construction and structural theories a preferred but not required
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office
  • Able and willing to occasionally climb ladders; not afraid of heights

COMPENSATION:

$35,000 - $40,000 annually; benefits package
